You have found the new proposed VVA web site and wish to explain some of the technical details. The site uses the Joomla Content Management System (CMS) which offers many benefits and advantages. It also uses Casading Sytle Sheets (CSS) and templates, which means style and content are separate entities. This allows to change the style of the site with the flip of the switch. If there is a preferred Joomla template you with to use or try, let me or any of the club officiers know.

Upon registering, you will find many new member-only servics which include blogs, forums, galleries, member profiles, classified ads, etc. Most of which can be made either private, available to registered users only or public.

The new code is also W3C compliant and should meet most Section508 regulations that site owners should comply with for many reasons.

The calendar of events is now database driven and will always been current without any ongoing maitenance.
