Any suggestions on forum categories?
Any suggestions for ranking names? Something related to VW.

Hi, I Have a few Suggestions as iam on other Forums...

For Forum Catergories you could have like beetle,Ghia,etc catergories also "how to" or Help Categories
And for Ranking Names you could use VW Engine Sizes going from 36 hp and up for the Number of Posts someone has...like say i have 1 post,which i could be called New Member and once i get over a certain amount say 25 posts then begins the 36 hp member if i have say 1000 posts i would be concidered a VR6 Member or something like that...just thought id add my 2 cents

I think my brother Dave (Tat2dGhiaDriver) is on the right track with his ideas!

I think some more sections in the forum such as a how to section, a show your ride section (to show off pictures/info of your pride and joy!), or even a project section (to show your progress). There are plenty of topics we could have really. A section for peiople to introduce themselves (and how they got into VWs) isn't a bad idea either.

As far as how to rank people, engine sizes is a good idea, or even models of Volkswagens. The older VWs (such as split and oval windows) could be for the people with more posts, and newer VWs (such as the Tiguan or Touareg) could be for people with fewer posts.

I frequent a site called VWMaine.com that has a great forum with alot of members. Maybe you can look there for inspiration. Just tell 'em n2vdubz sent ya!!
