This is a website for the Maine VW Club. Monthly meetings are held at Adept Screen Printing, in Lisbon Falls, ME on the last Wednesday of every month unless otherwise noted. We are a non-profit organization catering to the VW enthusiast. Our club was established in the Spring of 1988. A club of this type was not known to exist in the Northern New England area, so a small group started meeting and decided to form a club. The name is simple, “Vacationland Volkswagen Association,” named after what the State of Maine is known as...Vacationland. At least that’s what our license plates tell us! In the ensuing years since the formation of VVA, our club has grown from five to over sixty individuals and families, and we are in contact with other car clubs all over the country. Our membership continues to grow! We have picnics, outings, and caravans to many New England car shows and beyond. On July 22, 1990, we sponsored our first VW Car Show, and our second annual show on July 21, 1991. We have been holding an annual summer car show since that time. The show is currently scheduled for the second Sunday of August at the Windsor Fairgrounds. We are a growing organization and encourage suggestions that will help our club prosper and grow. We have monthly meetings or outings January through November and a holiday party in December. New members may join our club at any time by coming to one of our meetings, or by completing the Member Information Sheet Thanks for stopping by!
